In February, the Marlborough Art Society Gallery will host the inaugural Beyond the Blend exhibition (19–21 February 2026), celebrating the artistic talents of those who work in the wine industry. Whether you’re pruning vines by day and painting by night, or crafting cellar notes and ceramics, this is a wonderful chance to share your creative voice.
The organiser’s personal health journey crossed path with ink and paper two years ago, on the kitchen table. Art is now her daily practice. What started as physical therapy to regain hand mobility and fight neurological fatigue has become a way to find joy and explore her own creativity.
Born from this deeply personal journey of resilience and reconnection, and graciously supported by Indevin, Beyond the Blend is more than an art show - it’s a tribute to the land we live and work on, and the people who draw inspiration from it. The exhibition invites wine industry workers—whether in vineyards, wineries, or supporting roles—to submit original, previously unexhibited work that reflects their connection to Marlborough’s unique environment.
Selected artists will be invited to exhibit and attend a special opening night gala, with ticket proceeds supporting Mastering Mountains, a charity that empowers people with neurological conditions to return to the outdoors, like the organiser herself.
Let’s look beyond the blend—and celebrate the creativity of our wine community in a wine of a kind exhibition.
