NOTICE OF ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING 2025

The MAS Committee

warmly invite all Society members

to attend the AGM to be held on

Sunday 28th September 2025

at 4.00pm in the Studio.

Please join us for light refreshments to follow

Business includes:

  • Ratification of the minutes of the AGM 2024

  • President’s Report

  • Treasurer’s Report

  • Performance Review 2024-2025

  • Subs for 2025/2026

  • Election of Patrons, MAS Officers and Committee Members

  • General Business:

    • Committee Code of Conduct                                                            

Nominations for officers and members of the committee must be in writing and close with the Secretary at 4pm on Friday 26th September 2025. There are nomination forms available at the gallery.

The Performance Review will be emailed out 10 days prior to our AGM. Any comments/queries related to the Performance Review are to be emailed to the committee at info@marlboroughartsociety.co.nz by 4pm on Wednesday 24th September.

SPACE FOR ART IN MARLBOROUGH

The Marlborough Art Society Gallery is an attractive modern gallery in Blenheim, Marlborough, New Zealand.  Our premises has two adjoining galleries which have regular exhibitions featuring mainly the work of local artists but also the work of national artists. The gallery is open every day from 10.30am - 4.30pm when there is an exhibition on show.

The Marlborough Art Society has a Studio offering a wide range of daytime and evening groups and classes and also a programme of weekend workshops.

The venue is also available for hire for artistic ventures/events.

Venture into Acrylics with JoElle Gragilla

There are daytime groups which meet to paint or draw. A facilitator/tutor is present at these groups to help where necessary and it is a good way to meet and enjoy the company of other like-minded artistic people.

Evening groups and Workshops held in the weekends, cater for adults who are busy during the weekdays.
